Tangocho Wasa’s Argentine tango classes will continue on September 3rd, 2026. Latin bachata and rueda on selected Tuesdays, look further for info.

Argentine tango

Times:

  • 17.30 – 18.30 beginner
  • 18.30 – 19.30 intermediate
  • 19.30 – 20.30 advanced

First beginner class on Sep. 3rd is a free trial, come join and try Argentine tango!
Beginner course registration: https://uusi.opistopalvelut.fi/vaasa/en/course/160449/. Classes two to six are an ALMA course, normal price 26 €. Beginner class continues six times after ALMA course, price 40 €.

Prices:

  • beginner: 26 € + 40 € (5 + 6 times)
  • first lesson on September 3rd is a fee beginner trial class
  • intermediate: 80 € (12 times)
  • advanced: 80 € (12 times)
  • one time participation: 15 €
  • two courses (for example intermediate and advanced): 80 + 40 € (second half price).

Teaching language is mainly Finnish, with additions in Swedish, English and German.

What is rueda?
Rueda is a fun, engaging and social way to dance salsa with partners. Rueda is danced in a circle formed by couples. Everyone dances the same pattern to the rhythm of the leader’s shouted commands, and the dance partner changes on the fly. Many consider rueda to be the most fun dance they have ever tried and also consider it their favorite dance. To be able to dance rueda, you must be familiar with the basics of salsa.
